Conflict of interest

Clause 6.11 of our Constitution requires committee members and coordinators to declare any interest that could affect a decision they are part of.

  • A committee member or coordinator who owns a listed business declares it.
  • They never review, approve or edit their own listing; another coordinator or committee member does.
  • Every declaration is recorded.
  • The same applies to sponsorship, funding and any other decision where someone has a personal or business interest.
