Our three pillars

Social

Practical support for students, whānau visiting for treatment and people settling in. Asking is private.

We are a community network that looks after people's wellbeing. We help people settle into life in New Zealand and take part fully, and we make spaces where our community can gather.

What support exists

  • Students

A welcome pack and a buddy who has studied here before.

  • Whānau visiting for treatment

One contact point to help with the practical side of a hospital stay: where to stay, getting around, who to call.

  • New arrivals

Settling-in information: banking, IRD, health enrolment, schools, transport.

  • Welfare fund

Small, one-off help in a hard moment.

The details of each support, and who can use it, are to be confirmed.

How to ask

Fill in the short private form. Tell us what would help, not your whole story. We'll be in touch within 24 to 48 hours. Only the Social coordinator and our committee admin can see your request.

In an emergency, call 111.
