Join from 1 November 2026 to 31 March 2027 at our founding rates. Your membership runs until 31 March 2027. From 1 April 2027 the annual rates are Individual $60, Student / Senior $40, Family / $140 and Business / Organisation $300. New members joining later in the year pay for the quarters left: three quarters from July, half from October, a quarter from January. Renewals, and former members rejoining, pay the full annual fee.

A full-time student of any age, or anyone aged 65 or over.

At least 2 people living in the same household, including adult children. Everyone listed is a member. The family has one vote, cast by the adult it names. An adult child who wants their own vote takes an Individual membership.

A business or organisation established in New Zealand. One vote, cast by its nominated representative.
All rates in NZD. Members under 18 can join with a parent or guardian’s consent. They take part in everything but don’t vote.
Apply online and pay by bank transfer with the reference code we give you. Our committee then approves your application, and we email you to welcome you.
